The Coca-Cola Christmas caravan brought joy and excitement to Kakamega residents on Monday as they prepared for the festive season.

The event attracted thousands of locals who gathered to watch the colorful celebration and left with Christmas gifts, including goats, chicken, fish, maize flour, and other festive hampers.

Ishmael Yahum, one of the lucky recipients, expressed his excitement after receiving a goat and gift hampers for his family.

"I had just come to town to run some errands, and when I saw the Coca-Cola Christmas caravan at Quickmart supermarket, I decided to check it out. I couldn’t believe it when I won a goat and other giveaways," Yahum said.

He urged Kenyans to embrace kindness during the festive season by sharing with those less fortunate so everyone can enjoy the holidays.

The caravan began at Quickmart and made its way through town, spreading cheer and creating memorable moments for residents.

Since launching on December 2nd at Coca-Cola’s Embakasi plant, the caravan has traveled across Eastern, Mount Kenya, Rift Valley, Western, and Nyanza regions, bringing communities together along the way.

According to Coca-Cola Beverages Africa’s experimental marketing manager, Apidi, the initiative aims to bring people together during the holidays through shared experiences and generosity.

As the holiday season approaches, the caravan continues to promote a spirit of togetherness, encouraging acts of sharing and compassion.
